A Flower Stand Inside Chapters Bookstore in Moabit

From February 12th to February 15th, I participated in a Valentine’s pop-up at Chapters Bookstore in Moabit, Berlin, where flowers, books, and sweet cakes came together for a special weekend event.

Together with the wonderful Dilek from dilekerei, who brought her irresistible cakes and cupcakes, the bookstore became a warm and inviting space where flowers, books, and sweets came together in the most natural way.

For the event, I created a small flower stand inside the bookstore, offering fresh bouquets and floral arrangements throughout the Valentine’s weekend. Nestled among the shelves of carefully curated books, my table of flowers added soft colors, textures, and natural beauty to the calm atmosphere of Chapters.

Chapters Bookstore is one of those rare places that immediately invites you to slow down. Located in the heart of Moabit, it offers a peaceful environment where visitors can browse, discover new titles, and spend time among books. As someone who deeply loves reading, being surrounded by stories while sharing my floral work felt like a perfect combination.

Throughout the weekend, guests wandered through the bookstore. Some came for Valentine’s flowers, others discovered the cakes and cupcakes from dilekerei, and many ended up staying longer than they expected—enjoying the gentle rhythm of the space.

The combination of books, flowers, and sweets created something truly special. Flowers bring beauty and fragrance, cakes offer warmth and comfort, and books invite curiosity and imagination. Together, they touched nearly all our senses: the colors of fresh bouquets, the sweet scent of baked treats, the quiet sound of pages turning, and the calm feeling of being surrounded by stories.

For me personally, participating in this Valentine’s pop-up at Chapters Bookstore was an incredibly serene and inspiring experience. Between arranging bouquets and speaking with visitors, I found moments to browse the shelves and discover books I hadn’t known before. There was a deep sense of calm in the space that made the entire weekend feel both creative and peaceful.

It was a reminder that simple things—flowers, books, and something sweet—can come together to create moments of connection and joy.
