Cherry on the cake

This one was a personal project with two people I love working with.

Dilek baked — a cake and a batch of cherry meringue tarts — and Saskia, shooting as Oh Hedwig, captured the whole set in her signature moody light. My part was the styling: dried hydrangea, pepper berries, and a few wilted anemones, chosen to sit quietly beside the food rather than compete with it.
