A Floral Wedding Dessert Table, Created with dilekerei
For this dessert table, I worked alongside dilekerei to bring together two of my favorite things: an abundance of flowers and an equally abundant spread of cakes. At the center sits a beautiful, three-tier wedding cake, dressed with just a few olive leaves and a single garden rose — quiet enough to let everything around it do the talking.
Around it, we built a full dessert table: cheesecakes, a chocolate drip cake, meringue-topped bakes, and mini tarts, all set against apples and pears from our own gardens, piled loosely in wooden bowls and spilling onto the table and floor below.
Delphiniums, Dahlias & Pear Branches in Fruit
The floral arrangement framing the table leaned into that same garden feeling: tall delphiniums in soft lavender and white, full dahlias, and garden roses in warm ivory tones, all built around branches of pear — some still holding their fruit. Apples and pears scattered at the base tied the table back to the arrangement above it, so the flowers and the fruit read as one continuous, overflowing gesture rather than separate elements.
Cake Tables & Floral Installations for Weddings and Events
This is exactly the kind of setup I love creating — a cake table surrounded by lush, abundant florals, built for weddings, celebrations, or any occasion where people want a table that feels as good to look at as the cake tastes. If you’re planning a wedding or event in Berlin and want a table like this, I’d love to talk through what it could look like for you.
Cakes and desserts: dilekerei
A small side note: the dilekerei café itself can also be booked as a location for intimate gatherings, up to 30 guests. Having worked in the space many times, I know it well — and love the idea of layering it with lush, seasonal florals to make it feel entirely its own for each event.
