Rose & Helleborus Installation

For this portrait session with photographer Ezgi Polat, I built a cascading installation of deep red roses and helleborus, spilling from a clawfoot bathtub across the black-and-white checkerboard floor at Gorki Apartments in Berlin.

The palette stayed dark and romantic — bordeaux, wine, near-black foliage — a deliberate contrast against the graphic tile. Roses were massed low and dense to hold their shape under natural light, with helleborus threaded through for texture and a softer, bruised tone against the red.

Model Maria was styled with hair and make-up by Paula Bethge.

Installations like this sit at the intersection of my studio work and set design for editorial and fashion shoots.
