A Flower Wall Installation for Tanqueray at Bar Convent Berlin

For Bar Convent Berlin, one of the industry’s leading trade fairs for the bar and beverage world, I was commissioned to design a large-scale flower wall installation for Tanqueray’s Flor de Sevilla gin. Booked through the agency Schach zu Dritt, the brief was to create a floral installation striking enough to anchor an entire bar backdrop — something that would stop visitors in their tracks on a busy trade fair floor.

Designing the Floral Concept: Flor de Sevilla in Bloom

Built across a wooden pallet structure and framed by an illuminated green neon sign, the installation took its color palette straight from the gin itself: warm oranges, coral, and soft peach running through garden roses, spray roses, and carnations. Fresh Seville oranges and clusters of hypericum berries were tucked throughout the greenery, echoing the citrus notes of Flor de Sevilla, while trailing asparagus fern softened the structure’s edges. Bottles of the gin were styled directly into the floral installation itself, turning the product into part of the design rather than an add-on.

Floral Installations for Events: Working with Schach zu Dritt

Projects like this are a good example of what floral styling in Berlin can look like beyond a bouquet or a table centrepiece.
