Wedding Cake Table Dressed in Autumn Flowers
This autumn wedding cake table was set up outdoors, in a garden under a wooden pergola, with ivy on one side and an old iron fence on the other. The long table was covered in creased linen, and I laid nasturtium vines across it so the flowers carried on from the arrangements to the cakes. The dark greens of the garden suited the fall colors of the flowers, and the light was soft all afternoon.
I designed 3 autumnal floral arrangements to frame the table, in a seasonal palette of apricot, amber, burgundy and cream. The floral styling stayed loose and full, with some stems falling toward the table.
The autumn wedding flowers:
Dahlias in peach and apricot
Chrysanthemums
Sunflowers
Soft yellow garden roses and carnations
Chamomile
Hanging amaranthus
Nasturtium leaves and vines
dilekerei filled the table with chocolate berry cake, cheesecake, apple crumble tarts, lemon tartlets and bundt cakes, vegan chocolate cakes, a feast for the eyes among the flowers.
Every occasion deserves a table this generous, whether it’s a wedding, a birthday or a dinner at home. If you’re planning a celebration in Berlin and want a sweet table with flowers designed around it, get in touch and we can start with the season and the setting.
