An Abundance of Florals

Fresh flower arrangement inspiration from a Berlin floral artist — seasonal florals throughout the year

Creating art with flowers.

“When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else.”
– Georgia O’Keeffe

Across the year I work through what each season offers — hyacinths and ranunculus in early spring, lilac and peonies as it warms, dahlias and amaranthus once autumn sets in. Each arrangement starts the same way: a close look at what’s in front of me, and an instinct for how the colors and forms want to sit together.

This is the part of my work closest to the flower itself — no brief, no client, just an arrangement built around what’s seasonal and beautiful that week. Jewel tones, blush, café au lait, deep reds, and soft whites all find their way in depending on the time of year.
