Cherry blossoms appear for such a short window each spring — gone almost as quickly as they open. I paired them with coral peonies at their fullest, set against black, so the blossoms read as soft and fleeting against something solid and lasting. It’s one of the more delicate combinations I’ve photographed: warm coral against pale pink, structure against airiness.
