Cabbage Roses — Blurred Romance Floral Photography Print
Cabbage roses are one of the brief pleasures of late spring — full, fragrant, layered with petals that seem to multiply as the bloom opens. They are available for only a few weeks between May and June, which is part of what makes them so worth stopping for.
This photograph was made with intention — the focus softened deliberately to let the roses dissolve at the edges into something dreamier than a sharp botanical study. The result sits somewhere between photography and painting. The blooms are recognizably roses, but the image feels like a memory of roses — warm, soft, slightly out of reach.
Printed on Fuji Crystal Archive DP II Velvet — a professional photographic paper with a deep matte surface and no reflections. The neutral base tone renders color with exceptional accuracy, bringing the warmth and depth of botanical photography to life with a tactile, gallery-quality finish. Each print is made to order and ships from my Berlin studio.
