Pansy Line-Up — Violet Botanical Photography Print
Come spring, pansies appear everywhere — in window boxes, along pavements, in every garden. Easy to overlook precisely because they are so abundant. And yet each one is its own thing: a different shape, a different depth of colour, a different face looking back at you.
For this composition I gathered individual pansy stems and arranged them in a deliberate grid — pale lavender at the top, deepening through blush and violet to rich purple at the base. Photographed on pure black, each stem stands completely alone and completely itself. The result is somewhere between a botanical study and a colour gradient — ordered, considered, and quietly surprising.
If you believe in the language of flowers — pansies represent the thoughts of lovers.
